I’ve received a few pm’s with FReeQs not able to access the site (but able to access other webpages) and in once case, having to replace the router.

I received an update - I misunderstood and the router was not replaced. Days offline and “Everything worked except my access to FR. wired & wireless. I was ok on the Verizon network but not comcast.” That report was multi-day. Maybe it’s part of FR’s overall down episodes where “some folks can access” but rest of bandwidth is hogged. I still think VPN might be a good idea with peeps posting links to otherwise unfamiliar sites with no description etc. :)

There is a sight “Is Free Republic Down now?” its a sight that pings the sight an lets you know if its up or if its you. And how long the outage is...In this case it said all of FR was down for 24 hours...anyway its up now so we are back in beez ness!!!
