Think of the savings! No room/board and less indoctrination. Maybe a silver lining in it.
The indoctrination doesn't work on our son and he sees it for the bullshit it is. We taught him to think for himself and to not accept at face value what a teacher says ESPECIALLY if it has NOTHING to do with the subject matter of the class being taught. However, we also told him to nod his head in agreement IN class but be his own person outside the indoctrination chamber.
