When von Sydow phrases John 11:25:
I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this - Martha?
And she replies that if Jesus had been there her brother would be alive ... the total cosmic pathos that von Sydow shows in his face is overwhelming... a tear runs down his cheek and he looks towards the tomb.
