My proposal for health care visit safety:
The current practice is to walk into a doctor’s office, check in with the receptionist, wait in a waiting room with sick people and only see the doctor after a long wait.
Instead, the patient might park in the doctor’s parking lot, check in the receptionist via cell phone, wait in one’s own car until the doctor is almost ready to see his/her next patient and await a phone call to come into the office.
Doctors might put plastic runners over carpet so most place a patient might walk can be cleaned well on a daily basis.
There is also the matter of segregated scheduling. Patients over 60 years of age might be scheduled for Tuesday through Friday mornings if possible.
Great ideas
That makes it more dangerous for the elderly, am I right?
