South Korea has tested over 140,000 people for COVID-19 and their data may give the best insight into a more accurate fatality rate.

I hope not. Latest numbers for South Korea are 6,593 cases, 177 of which have resolved. Of those which have resolved, 42 have died. That's a Case Fatality Rate over the course of the disease of 24% (Don't count those who have not resolved because you don't know how they're going to resolve).

I think you need to divide the dead by the number of cases (not the dead by the recovered rate).

Those death numbers would be wonderful if true for all countries.
