A staff member at Aegis Living Marymoor, an assisted living and memory care facility in Redmond, has tested positive for COVID-19. Four Washington senior-care facilities have now had a resident or staff member test positive for coronavirus.

Assisted living residents tend to be healthier than those at Skilled Nursing Facilities, but still mostly in their 80's and 90's, and not as healthy as those living in the general population. Very bad if it spreads there.

seems to me that a good time to test the staff at nursing homes was last week.

and if us old folk are supposed to self-quarantine, why aren’t nursing homes also quarantined from visitors?
