Doctor from Bridgeport Hospital tests positive for coronavirus, the second case linked to Connecticut
Gov. Ned Lamont announced late Saturday morning that a Bridgeport Hospital-affiliated doctor has coronavirus, the second time in two days that a New York state resident working at a Connecticut hospital has tested positive for the virus.
This most recent case of another New York resident who works in Connecticut testing positive for COVID-19 shows us what we already know coronavirus is here and viruses dont stop at state borders,” Lamont said in a statement.
Officials have not disclosed his name nor specified his exact role at the hospital, but said he was not a hospital employee. The described him as a community physician who made rounds at Bridgeport Hospital.
The guy infected two hospitals (doorknobs, table tops, medical equipment etal), probably a bunch of patients who resided there as well as a bunch of hospital workers—nothing to see here.
Jerk Lamont has tested a total of twenty one people in the state (my state).
We may have several hundred untested positive cases by now—just from this one source.
Those hospitals should have been closed and decontaminated.
