My baseline is no respect for Andrew Cuomo, but something has happened to make him behave responsibly and speak sensibly about this matter.
Cuomo:
—Strong ties to, contacts with Italy. They are two to three weeks ahead of us with regional quarantines
—I think he is getting the NY National Guard ready to quarantine parts of NYC in a few weeks. That kind of mobilization takes time and planning (and of course secrecy).
He knows this s^&^ is real.
