It’s recommended to do it the way I did it to avoid problems with who pays, etc., but at least she’s aware of it.

thanks. Back to scratchin my head. The former employee pays.
what started me\us down this path is me questioning your statement:
"For those that have coverage under their employer, the employer can’t kick them off their insurance for 60 days"
which is clearly not the case.
