Yesterday I texted my friend, a medical professional, how it was going and about her MIL that is in a nursing home, and told her about you visiting mom through the window. She said she hadn’t seen her for a week, and then sent me a picture of Mary smiling through the window. I was so happy because she is in final stage of alzheimers and I didn’t know she’d respond to a window visit. Happy for my friend too. She had taken care of her at home, took her to adult day care while she worked, until she couldn’t do it anymore and they had to put her in a home.
