So smart! I like those type of door knobs myself, since they don’t affect my tendonitis. Never thought about cats being able to manipulate them. I think with a cat that smart you better check your bank accounts, she could be embezzling.

We have a Blue Healer that constantly uses these. One paw slap and she is good. Kitchen patio door is always open. We have to lock door between garage and house, or she wanders in there. As a puppy, no shoe was safe in a closed closet until we put a bedroom lock handle on it. She is just a bit smarter than her Mom and is always matching wits with the Dad.

Do love these handles as just needs an elbow to open when necessary.
