The John Hopkins guy is focusing on infection numbers, but there are a _lot_ of other implications if that forecast is correct.
The impact on hospitals and health care in all countries would be insane. There is nowhere near enough equipment, doctors, nurses, technicians, etc to deal with something like that.
The economic costs—probably a full two year world wide depression.
The political costs—who knows...anything would be possible.
We better hope he is wrong—or the docs figure out a way to mitigate the disease even if they can’t get a vaccine that works.
