Two Bergen County residents with no apparent connection an Englewood resident and a 32-year-old New York City health care worker with an apartment in Fort Lee are the first New Jersey patients to be diagnosed with coronavirus, as the disease continues to expand across the country, health officials said Thursday.
Rice University staffer who tested positive for coronavirus is one of two Harris County cases
The Rice employee, the other Harris County patient and the Fort Bend County patient all traveled to Egypt in February.

HOUSTON A Rice University staffer has tested positive for coronavirus, the university confirmed Thursday evening.
This is one of two coronaviruses confirmed in Harris County. One case is also confirmed in Fort Bend County.
All three people, 2 men and a woman, traveled to Egypt in February.
