It is not about stopping spread, it is about slowing it down. If it is not slowed, our hospitals will be overwhelmed quickly.
And not just international flights, they need to ground flights to parts of the US now.
I think it’s been floating around the country for at least a month now, with all of the airline traffic that’s been coming in here.
Just because they finally started testing, doesn’t mean there haven’t been cases for awhile now. So it’s difficult to ascertain the true rate of growth of this.
The “slowing down” will only slow it down for a couple of days at most.
It is a fool’s errand at this point.
