Why on Earth would that be the case? Should be proportional to blood volume or at least number of B lymphocytes.
That makes the young men irritated, rebellious and not amenable to authoritarian control.
The most efficient way to cull that population is war.

Had my tonsils removed, even had adenoids burned out. Ironically I had ear tubes twice.
Tonsils can grow back to varying degrees. Mine are there now; they are tiny but my ENT doc has confirmed this.
Major mastoid infection required a 2 week hospital stay when I was 14 (I was on the swim team). My left ear-drum never actually totally healed, I dare not swim without an ear plug on that one. Two grafting surgeries on that one and one successful one on my right ear. Permanent ringing.

Maybe they’re still benefiting from the remnants of mother’s milk which is supposed to ward off many diseases.

Maybe there’s some kind of environment factor that makes it easier for the kids immune system to recognize the virus as a pathogen that gradually diminishes as a person ages.

Sometimes we forget that it is severe inflammation that causes diseases and their symptoms. Adults are great at creating inflammation in virtually all body systems. Kids not so much.
For example adults have autoimmune diseases of all kinds manifesting with severe symptoms...take RA and painful swollen joints, MS where everything eventually goes out of whatck and, of course, all the gut issues of IBD, etc.,etc. My understanding is that mature immune or getting mature immune systems or those born with innate parts of their autoimmune systems do get inflammation that causes horrible symptoms.
The descriptions I have read about the inflammation of the adult lungs associated with Corona virus is actually what kills adults with their outrageously capable immune systems (which we “know” should control the virus) whereas kids just are not yet capable of producing inflammation at that level. So while they may have some few symptoms, they are not massively overridden by the deadly inflammation.
Kinda like a 40 year walk in the desert.
