A friend of mine who is a recovering democrat, forgot to switch their party affiliation so they got a primary ballot for Colorado and they asked me who they should vote for to help out the President.
He loathes communists, really hates Bloomberg and think Biden is a senile old man who could be used to sneak a worse VP choice in.
He was going to register Independent, but got to busy and now has a ballot for the Dem primary.
He has stated he will definitely vote for Trump in November, and regrets throwing his vote away on the libertarian candidate.
What advice should I give them?
If all the crossover votes were to write in Trump then Trump would be reported in the reported results.
Vote for Bernie. Screws up the polls and provides fake momentum.
In open primary states you have a choice of a D ballot or an R ballot.
If there are other R primaries, they should take precedence to screwing with the Dems.
vote Crazy Bernie - give him the biggest plurality as convention time
he’s gonna sell out, but harder to justify for him and DNC if he’s winning big....
Ahh, I see. I didn’t realize that. OK, point well taken then.
In a lot of places they don’t even count write ins.
It does in some states. Presidential primary is right alongside races for U.S. Senator, U.S. rep, all state county and district races in open primary. People in these states need to clear out some trash too.
They are all chaos candidates. It’s a total waste of time, any of these chumps won’t last one full round against Trump.
Bernie.....He needs all the support he can get since Klobuchar and Buttboy are throwing their delegates to Creepy Joe
Sorry, saw your other post without reading to end. Freegards.
Had to have this discussion with my mother-in-law last week as she relocated here from out-of-state 3 years ago. It’s just fresh on my mind.

May as well write in Warren if this is the case in Colorado.
A “recovering Democrat” should refrain from voting for any Democrat candidate. Walkaway truly means WALKAWAY!
Each state also varies on write-in procedure. I've been election judge on several occasions. While it is usually a wasted vote they remained entertaining through a long day when we still did manual vote counts.
I have worked but not been election judge during one election (in the '80s) where the rat judge thought it would be ok to re-mark a handful of write-in ballots to the name of the candidate he "thought they meant." Yes, it was thrown out. But it's twisted fun to watch the rat's heads spin over write-ins.
I did mention liking the write-in situation in this instance because I've seen my local county officials take note that nobody seemed to like their candidates due to the number of write-in votes. I never mind giving rats that impression.
Ping. Let us know the county when u post
Bernie needs not a vote from freepers.
Vote Tulsi.
perfect!
I’m voting for the Bern tomorrow here in MA.
I’d go for Bernie now, Bloomberg will BUY the chaos later, so Bernie would be my choice.
Bolshevik feel the Burn.
