If they get enough votes to translate into delegates, they can throw them to another candidate.
Of course, in many of the states voting tomorrow, early voting has been going on for weeks. So a lot of the votes for Amy, Pete and Steyer have already been cast, especially in Texas and California. While this may help Biden in the longer term, it is not going to help him a lot tomorrow. Bernie is expected to win big in California tomorrow and be a relatively close 2nd in Texas. I expect Bernie to come out of tomorrow with enough delegates that it will be almost impossible for Biden to take the delegate lead before the convention, but not enough to win outright.

I'm guessing he got his pals in publishing to give Booty and Amy sweet book deals and his media pals have agreed to TV talker deals on CNN, MSDNC - etc.
Yet, he still won't come out and endorse Joe.

Latest polls out of Texas have Sanders ahead there. If Sanders wins Texas and California, it is going to be very difficult for Biden to catch up to Sanders.
