“Love Trump....but was this really smart?”
He is trying to hold the ship together and not panic the people. He’s sensitive anyway of things being blamed on him, which this HAS by the Dems, especially things totally out of his and our control like coronavirus. He’s nervous, you can tell, and his touting a “look over here, not over there” attitude makes one uncomfortable, but let’s face it, this caught everyone, all of us more off guard than we’d like to admit. I know Trump cares. My brother in CDC has been at ‘battle stations’ in Washington state for over a month. They are all doing what they can. I’m sure Trump has his hands full but tweets like the last two don’t help his cause any. My brother is exhausted. They rotate in four to five day shifts, up most of the time.
My main issue is even bringing up polls, I certainnly don’t believe in any polls, and I think it’s wise that Trump not go there.
If this thing goes South, he’s going to regret that Tweet.
I'd prefer it if he used some of his aides as attack dogs to do this defensive work for him, but...let Reagan be Reagan, let Trump be Trump.
