In China much of the adult male population smokes cigarettes, but just breathing the air in most Chinese cities damages a persons lungs.

As for first responders here, they are normally physically healthy (yes with exceptions), but some occupational exposure I suppose?

Every time I’ve been to China I can feel the poor air quality- I can’t imagine spending my life there.

Yep it's going to get interesting when there is widespread cases here and you wind up with all medical and first responders testing positive and then are we all quarantined or just keep running calls or???

I had a friend who did an expat gig in Shanghai. She left after year because because of the air quality and the food. She spent most of her life in Asia as an ex-pat but really hated China,
