“Almost impossible to not know that unless one covers their ears and eyes when passing a TV all the time :)”

Only rarely look at the telly. Never take in entertainment news (the Brit papers seem to be all about celebrity “news”.)
“i know we have the they all wanted it to further their careers!! crowd here :)”

I might be in that crowd if you mean someone made a casting couch deal where they did the horizontal pretzel to get a promised benefit. I’d consider that a business deal - though not an altogether moral one - but it’s part of the “Oldest profession”, after all.
Sleazy, but I’m not sure how it can be “rape” if a person makes it into a business deal. There’s no doubt the guy is creepy and disgusting, but if they started sentencing people to prison for that the jails would be jam-packed with people serving time for just being icky human beings.

Mmmm. I’m twixt-n-tween.
On one hand yes, there were most likely women who literally handed themselves over for ‘personal usage,’ in exchange for movie roles. Sigh. More to their foolishness.
There were, however, women who did file reports only to be told they were ‘he said/she said’ cases. This I believe even a young women who got him on tape apologizing for grabbing her and telling her he was just “used to being able to do it.” At that time the case was *still* being bandied about by the police in limbo because of his position and wealth.
So did he rape? I’m sure he did, as he was just so used to having his way and who his political backers were at the time.
I think it’s a severe case of Karma-being-a-bitch.
