We've been here since way back to who knows when. Before America. Fought for America every time she needed. Have some Irish sprinkled in there so what's the problem.

I don't have a problem I'm not a hyphenated American. My parents came to America to be Americans and they never, not once, ever referred to themselves as Hungarian-Americans. Yes they had pride in their ancestry but never ever put that ahead of being an American.

We have many groups that put their ancestor's home country first ie African Americans, Mexican Americans(funny how some people get angry when those two groups and others put their ancestors point of origin first yet blithely do it themselves.

Embrace your ancestry, cherish it but............why aren't people Americans first? Ya gotta know the liberals love it because it's division of our nation and they are all about making everyone divided instead of unified.

But hey that's just how I see, obviously everyone is free top call themselves whatever they like.

Not being a drinker hyphenated Holiday celebrations mean nothing to me, bot St. Patrick's Day, Cinco De Quat...er...Mayo or any other excuses to drink to excess.
