it's not the scary thing that everyone thinks it is I have heard the same thing from people who survived all kinds of possibly fatal experiences - horrific crashes, fierce close quarters gun fights, air combat in the second world war, terrorist bombings, and serious illnesses.
We read about a Freeper who decided to climb onto the back of a bear attacking his dog to slit the bear's throat a few years ago. He probably thought that wasn't too scary either after it was all over.

He probably thought that wasn't too scary either after it was all over. That's nothing. I once knocked a bear out using some jabs, some fancy footwork, and a sudden right hook. Not scary at all. The bear's coaches threw in the towel in the 7th round like the Deontary Wilders/Fury fight. Our corners were two trees in the woods.
