The head of Michael Bloomberg’s presidential campaign in North Carolina made a homophobic crack in front of a reporter while talking about Pete Buttigieg during a meeting with local preachers.
The staffer, James Mitchell, started naming Bloomberg’s rivals: “You have Biden, Sanders, Warren, Butti-Jay,” he said, according to a story written by veteran political reporter Ben Jacobs, which was posted in Medium.com.
Mitchell, then gestured toward a minister, Dwayne Walker, and added: “Pastor, you got me saying what you were saying — Butti-Jay,” to laughter in the room.
Mitchell added: “He said something different — I’m cleaning it up.”
It was a riff on “Butti-gay.”
Buttigieg, the former mayor of South Bend, Ind., is a married gay man.
Former Houston Mayor Annise Parker, President & CEO of LGBTQ Victory Fund, slammed the remark as homophobic.
“Targeting candidates with juvenile nicknames based on personal characteristics is a Trump playbook tactic and further evidence Bloomberg is running in the wrong primary. The state campaign director’s homophobic remarks are not unlike Bloomberg’s past comments targeting lesbians, trans people, women and others.”
Mitchell, in a statement released by the Bloomberg campaign, regretted his remark.
“Someone made an inappropriate remark, I tried to diffuse it at the time. I wish I had been stronger in my response,” he said.

I am not phobic...I am nauseated.
Many years ago and it always irritated me. Phobic is an irrational fear of something. No one is afraid of these people. Maybe we should have been. They have corrupted the culture almost beyond recognition.
This is known as a “Butticrack.”
They can redefine it any way they want and who will object? They redefined "gay", they redefined "marriage", so they can redefined "phobia".

Everyone knows something is wrong with so-called “mayor pete”. His behavior and thinking are maladjusted, at best.
I just call him the Sodomite who looks like Howdy Doody. Or Alfred E. Newman. And I’m still working.
“Homophobia” is a high holy sin for Demonrats. Bloomberg needs to quit the campaign immediately and spend the rest of his life kowtowing to and funding radical Sodomite candidates and causes.
It’s not homophobic. Some people just have a natural born aversion to homosexuals. It’s a condition called normal. The Left is trying conversion therapy on a grand scale, to force everyone to accept it as the new normal.
First and foremost, he was born and raised a Communist.
Second, he was a rotten and incompetent Mayor of a troubled, racially-divided city.
Third, he likes to stick his penis into another man’s filthy anus and vice-versa.
Buttijay is actually one of the nice nicknames being used.
I call him Mean Little Pete Buttplug, and that’s the nicest name for him I can come up with.
I am not homophobic if people keep their private life private I have NO problem with them at all!! I will say one thing though that mayor Pete and his partner kissing in public makes me want to VOMIT it just turns my stomach!!!
“Homo” means “self.” Phobic means “fear of.” I am not afraid of myself therefore I am not homophobic.
