Yes, the photo in your comment #9. That’s what the bills are really about. Some employers are behind the push for putting bizarre grooming in the faces of customers, too—Walmart, for one. If the bill passes in your state, boycott them. Get some competition going. If the other local supermarket didn’t have a bad odor and rude employees, I would be shopping there.
When I worked in a supermarket for my first job, we were required to be well groomed (no long hair), wearing slacks, button-down shirts and shoes that shined. Every one of us was also capable of lifting cartons throughout a shift and unloading trucks. There was only one manager in the store—not dozens of waddling, bizarrely groomed things called managers.
My first job was a Service Rep for the Phone Company in a public office. I had to dress for work.
