Here is an American in Wuhan who seems to be taking things in stride and believes the Chinese government has done a pretty good job. He is obviously just a lay person though.

So it is almost two weeks since the CDC sent out defective test kits, and they still haven't fixed them, and only 4 states have any testing capacity.
The plan was for states to test people who had flu symptoms, but tested negative for the flu. Totally good plan. But it still hasn't started because there are no test kits. It is so bad Hawaii is trying to buy test kits from Japan. The CDC has only test 461 people in 8 weeks. Korea is testing 10,000 people a day.
