Georgia colleges stop study abroad in South Korea due to coronavirus
The University of Georgia announced Thursday afternoon it is ****bringing back students in South Korea who are in its study abroad program after the federal government increased its coronavirus outbreak warning level for that nation.****
We are requesting all UGA study abroad students in South Korea impacted by this decision to return to the United States. We are ready to assist you and will work with you on academic and financial concerns, the last sentence in the message to the students says.UGA has six students there who were scheduled to begin classes on March 16, a spokesman said.
