no wonder the ccp freaked out ... once they sequenced and the process of id’ing the virus hit up plus whatever bureacracy they had to get through, they knew something horrible had gotten out.
I doubt they understood the relapse factor in advance unless they have done human testing. If this turns out to be like herpes or HIV, where once you are infected with the virus, you have it for life, that would be devastating. I had Chickenpox (herpes zoster) as a kid, then 40 years later it came back as Shingles.
There were some epidemiologists at the beginning of Feb that predicted it could become a seasonal virus. If it becomes like the common cold, another coronavirus, where you never get immunity, that might be even worse.

Might even be worse then that. Survivors may need to take anti virals the rest of their lives. Just like aids. People just dont get the seriousness here. Which is kinda good right now. Since quite a few would be running around naked with their hair on fire. Based on past experiences lol.
Because you don’t get immunity, does not mean it lays dormant and can be reactivated. Two different things.
