After I read the book, I went to the theater years ago to see the movie - it was incredibly fast-moving and frightening...right up my alley.
Now I am going to re-read it, just to freak myself out again.

I thought it was pretty intuitive how they defeated the “Zekes in World War Z.
The hero injecting himself with a virus to play dead among the dead was a money shot worth the ticket price. Playing dead in the animal kingdom is a very adept strategy. It reminds me of Barry in Dinner for Schmucks when he plays dead so no one will beat him up.
Camouflage is a good strategy every time.
I wonder if lab rats have created a virus that could make one smell like a skunk. That would make for a funny contagion. A bunch of human Pepe Lepews’ nancing around. But alas it would scratch the throats of the elitists on hill Nobs everywhere so that’s out.
