Yeah. Maybe we forget about wars or military elsewhere until, in the words of the Mob.....California gets “straightened out”.....long over due to take care of business there. They are crapping on the rest of the country. Armed forces can do if the will of the people are behind them. Then California is no more tough guy. They’ll fall right back in line.

Let California secede if it wishes to conduct its own experiment in government. Of course the US could invoke the kind of sanctions we have with Iran. In any case a peaceful parting and a non violent but effective response from the USA would be optimal.

If California would leave (for any reason!) China would be right there on the Rockies to “protect it”!
Eventually you will fall into self defense areas and the politicians who enter may well be considered enemy combatants... detain and lock up for barter goods....
