I think if you keep the calories down, you’ll be ok, even on carbs...but it will take a lot of effort, and definitely not something that can be done for the long-term, hence the popularity of Keto.

Calories are the hardest part. My wife doesn’t get it. She thinks I’m too skinny and is always tempting me. I make it most of the week, but on a given Saturday night there is a good chance that I will grab a bite or two of the piece of cheesecake she intentionally leaves in the fridge next to my water.
