After having watched “The Crown” I have a new found loathing for the Royals. Except for Kate (she can do no wrong AFAIAC).
The “institution” of the Monarchy is an all consuming CULT for those caught up in its dominance.
Frankly, I’m glad to see Meghan Markle break the strangle hold the crown has over them. Although, she is giving deference to the Queen when she should just tell her covfefe.
Watching “The Crown” to draw conclusions about the British monarchy is like watching “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” to learn about Christianity.
“The Crown” is fiction loosely based on some people whom the actors vaguely resemble.
