Because The Message is not enough? If you can't see that attempting to fit God Almighty into the Marvel Universe 'for the children' isn't the dumbest idea ever, I can't help you.
Then throw out the flannel graphs, shadow boxes, Biblical coloring books, radio dramas, TV dramas, Biblical movies, Veggie Tales, translated parables, etc. etc. etc.
Sometimes your narrow, rigid, starchy boundaries come across as way over the line unnecessarily arrogant & stubborn.
I don’t have any formula or script for what I was pondering but I’m sure Holy Spirit’s creativity would be up to the task.
It is an honorable, God-loving motivation to wish to see Christ in our era attract more of the awe, glory, worship HE alone deserves vs that which goes to concocted fictional usurpers.
I see no reason to allow the enemy to define the dictionary, the media tool kit, the narrative, the story lines etc.
