Last year I attended a briefing from the Phoenix PD's human trafficking team explaining how people are moved about and trafficked. Intercity buses are a prime method of moving trafficked people around the country. At the appropriate stop, the trafficked individual is met and taken away by his or her handler.
So yes, Greyhound is a tool used by traffickers.

Probably true, but maybe after fake ID issued.
I live in the NW. A friend of mine who had rentals found out one of them had a bunch of illegals. The renters said he could make $500 per person to take them up here. Not sure how many can fit in a U haul. So the incentive is there.
BTW he did not do that.
