The official said the funeral homes workload, on Feb. 3, peaked at processing 127 bodies. Under pressure, the facilitys workers are working 24 hours along with two other crematoriums in Wuhan.
The worker interviewed said he gets only 2-3 hours sleep if he's lucky and said he needs at least 40 to 50 more workers to cope with the need.
Maybe I'm being a simpleton here but....
.... if you take the worker at his word that he needs 40-50 people (figure in working groups of 5 that gets you 8-10 more groups to process at a peek 127 bodies cremated). When you do the math, as of Feb. 3rd, I'm guess-timating they were probably receiving between 1000 to 1300 dead a day.
That number doesn't take in the doubling of the infection every 6.4 days.
