Another difference is they were doing all they could to fudge the poll numbers in Obama’s favor, while skewing them against Trump. Obama was probably more like 45 at this stage, and Trump is probably at 56 or more. Obama was easily beatable by anyone except a Romney. So they gave us Romney.
