Jews are at times victim minority groups no question of that and that self identification drives most of them to leftism
About one quarter resist it or it at least it appears that way
With Jews it depends on who’s oppressing them whether they get victim capital from it
This is an Haredi community, orthodox. The left and in particular more radical black activists hate Orthodox Jews. I believe that’s why this feels off and a little hoaxy. The anti-semitism is real but it’s not coming from the stereotypical source. It’ll sure be blamed on it though, for as long as the media can maintain that impression.
