It is a threat to public health! It needs to be made public. I think it is not even on the radar of the general public. That is criminal - esp if those in charge have information that could have encouraged people to prepare. Why wouldn’t they do that? I don’t get it. Doesn’t it help local government if people who may potentially have to quarantine have a month or two of supplies?
I sure as heck hope they are testing these severe flu cases, especially the younger healthy folks who are dying of pneumonia...

a tiny bright spot of news out of Singapore:
Ten more COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospital, including a DBS employee and several people linked to the Grace Assembly of God church cluster, Singapore’s Ministry of Health (MOH) said on Friday (Feb 21). In total, 47 patients have recovered from the novel coronavirus in Singapore. “We now have more cases who have recovered and discharged than those actually still hospitalised,” says Assoc Professor Kenneth Mak, MOH’s director of medical services.

Same thing happening in Texas...Minimum to NO details, about treatment or location of evacuees.
The most detail that I’ve seen, of ANY US cases, was from Hawaii, where they mentioned the hotel, in Oahu, where the infected guy had stayed.
This is some good news, as all eyes were watching Singapore - with a good healthcare system - could handle their cases and containment.

They are making 3 ply masks, and offering them to medical workers. Also plan to distribute to the poor who can’t afford to pay the high prices being charged for masks. Here’s how they make them.

South Korea update:
South Korea has stepped up its emergency response as cases of the coronavirus surge. One hundred new cases were reported on Feb 21, bringing the country’s total to 204. That is the highest number in any country outside of China.

Japan messed up...somehow quickly tested all the passengers on the cruise ship and just let them walk if tested negative...ignoring the fact that many test negative at first..now several positive
Need to start screening people form Japan flights NOW!!
