Amazing how CNN can just manage to not see all the scriptures in the Bible that deal along these lines.

And yes, there are people who will turn on a dime from being neutral or supportive of the Bible to bashing in in ten seconds flat.

I have a family member who gets a bit testy when you bring up the Bible as a resource for anything. He believes religion is behind all wars, and not applicable to the modern world..which isn't unusual for scientifically minded people to think....and yet he's an avid reader and will quote you authors out of any other book to support his positions or opinions.

Of this they are willingly ignorant. Or insolent. God made man and women distinctively different yet uniquely compatible and complementary, and only joined them together in marriage - as the Lord Jesus Himself specified (Mt. 19:4–6) - and Scripture only condemns homosexual relations wherever they are manifestly dealt with .

Yet there is still room at the cross for all who will come to God in repentance and faith, and trust in the Divine Son of God sent by the Father, the risen Lord Jesus, to save them on His account, by His sinless shed blood, and thus be baptized and live for Him. Acts 10:36-47
