Animal models have shown rapid fatality during reinfection resulting from the cytokine storms. We are assuming the first case was in December, while mounting evidence indicates it may have been far earlier.
These were studies of SARS1 during investigation of vaccines showing increased fatality upon reinfection. I think it is worth considering the same actions in SARS2.
