That is a funny story...
The couple we parked beside had the black Q shirts and when we pulled in there was group of DPS officers around their car talking to them. After we got in line we asked them what that was all about and they said they happened to be walking by, so they asked if they would be ok with the Q shirts?? DPS told them at the time, yes they were fine no problem with them.
Fast forward a couple hours and as we leave the line into security area one of the guys with a security shirt on tells my wife the guys up front may tell her, she will need to cover her shirt or turn it inside out. We go through the line with secret service running the metal detector and they don't say anything at all, so we think cool we are good. We turn to walk in and there is that same guy saying remember cover it, if I see you running around inside I will have to escort you out.
So my wife, being the rebel she is, says ok and then walking in, she says to us, what are the chances he sees me again with 15,000 people inside?? She says I am just going to go sit down, I don't plan on getting up and running around anyway. About an hour before Trump is scheduled we looked down on the floor and there he was, looking up into the crowd, then he disappears and next time we see him he is up on our level looking around and she started getting nervous. Sure felt like he was looking for her there for awhile and she sat there covering her shirt with her Women for Trump sign. We had another guy sit in front of us that had a nice blue shirt that had a flag on it with a Q on the flag. At some point he came back to his seat and had another shirt over it... I was going to ask him if they made him cover it but they left early, before I got the chance.
Ironically, Mine, I have never had anybody say anything about it except for Q people... I guess because I don't have an actual "Q" on it. I was standing there beside my wife when he told her that and I turned so he he could see mine full on.
Need to wear a shirt that says “CUE”.
“Just curious; were there any issues with wearing the Q shirts into the rally?”
On your next rally (I’m sure you’ll be attending more) wear a t-shirt that says “( ) \ Some assembly required” on it.
