What I suspect is happening right now, is the good guys are monitoring absolutely everything, actively identifying and eliminating swamp dwellers by the hundreds. We’ve heard about big names, but there has to be plenty of minions/flunkies as well.

The CIA working with 3rd world scumbags to import massive loads of illegal drugs and human trafficking into the country.
DEA working against 3rd world scumbags to stop the flow of illegal drugs and such into the country.
Both sides outting each other’s agents to the 3rd world scumbags and getting them killed.
So, yeah. I do believe there’s a serious shooting war going on between the white hats and black hats for the last few years.
Imagine a world where the entire Bush-Obama police state spy apparatus is now used to defend the Constitution... Little wonder they are beside themselves.
