The quote is wrong. It was Machiavelli who said that, not Emerson, and Niccolo Machiavelli may have borrowed it from someone from ancient Rome.

So why did Trump misquote? I'm sure he's read Machiavelli, so I don't see it as a mistake. It was a deliberate misquote. But why?

Is this something to which we should be paying attention?

When I go to @realDonaldTrump twitter I can only see 2/11/2020. Can you guys check and tell me when was the last post you can see of Trump tweets? I believe Trump is being shadowbanned or we're banned from him.
Jim if you find that I'm correct. Can you please post this as braking news that Trump is being shadowbanned?
