Pompeo could actually do it. For the same reason, I would actually like Robert Lighthizer, equally.
And I can see Trump selecting him as a candidate.

Pence is a good guy, but nobody will elect him president.
That is not going to happen.
so no need for Trump to switch vp’s. Just during Trump second term Pence needs to make it clear not running and Pompeo needs to show he is the man for the job.
