The minimum wage does need to rise. The minimum wage I earned in 1978 is $14.25 hr on the cpu calculator
$11.50-12.00 would be ok.

Most satiates have already raised minimum wage to $15.00 all it has done is give the government more payroll taxes, raise the cost of goods everywhere AND put many small businesses out of business this has NOT helped workers in anyway they are paying more in taxes and paying more for every damn thing they buy!!!
In 1976 when I was 16 and started to work MW was 2.30 hour. 2019 it is now 9.45 hour. So in 43 years it has only raised 7.15. However food, gas, housing has what tripled, quadrupled?
So yes it needs to be raised to 12.00 at least.
