Thats pretty harsh.
I dont tell anyone what is wrong with them for not Seeing things my way. You might think about doing that yourself.
You expect me to thank you for that nasty, sarcastic screed you wrote? And you’re accusing me of the same.
I call that projection. You would make a good Democrat.
All I did in my original post was politely disagree with your contention that Dean-Charles Chapman was fat. I then noted that a few things about WW1 uniforms that might have affected your perception.
I just searched photos of the actor, and I didn’t see any in which he had what appeared to be a roll around his middle. He has a roundish face, but there are people like that, and many of them aren’t obese.
I have roughly 1,000 books about the Great War in my den. Many of these books detail the lives — and, all too frequently, deaths — of individual officers and enlisted me. There are photos of many of these fighting men — and I guarantee you that in such a large sample you will find all kinds of faces.
Your original post — #2 in this thread, I believe — stated that you hadn’t seen any of the nominated films. Your later posts suggested that you had.
This is rather confusing to me, but I get the impression you know nothing about the Great War and aren’t even a serious commentor, just someone out to provoke an argument.
Certainly, your nasty response to my fact-based original post was excessive. I normally try to be polite to everyone on these threads, but on the rare occasions I get a nasty response, I don’t let it pass.
I have boundaries. No one smarts off to me.
So, drop dead, again.
