IMHO the President's responses showed right from the start that he wasn't going to put up with any snarky nonsense from Bret and Martha.
A few times they seemed to be going there but he made very quick comebacks that made it clear he would counter-punch and defend himself.
He kept it polite and civil but his message was unmistakable.
Or maybe it's just my Pro-Trump bias seeing something because I want to see it!
