Hasnt been a year already? Alex is a miracle, my sister died of pancreatic cancer and its Not typical to survive more than a few months. Good for Alex!
That was good for me to watch. I’m having so many problems right now with finding new doc and getting my tongue fixed, it’s both stressful and depressing. I need doctors to be honest with me about risks of things because there is a fine line between what I’m willing to live with and if I’m willing to live. The problem is with mouth and neck cancer, everything we do is there. Talking, eating, breathing, and almost everything they do may cause permanent damage. I thought I was in great shape and so did the doctors because what they did surgery on was SCC, STAGE 0, as in zero. But it has caused me this tongue problem, and the lymphedema which there is no cure for.
And I blame the care I received for the totally unnecessary tracheostomy for some swallowing problems and I guess what you could call PTSD.
