Let me think about this. Rush always said his hardest time hearing is a large room with many sounds.
I can’t hear at all in a large room like a restaurant or wedding at all. Even the waitress or waiter trying to take my order. My daughters and I go out to eat and we end up using ASL which we all know for most of time as I can’t hear them over 3/4’s of the time. My daughter said give it 3-4 months outside of the house to adjust to them. She said in the house it should take the 3-4 weeks I was told.
when I first got my hearing aids, I could hear the aglets of my shoelaces bounce off my shoes as I walked.
I was easy 30 feet from the printer at work and never heard it. After the hearing aids, i heard everything it does and it hummed all the time.
Restaurants or any room with high ceilings, I’m back to reading lips during conversations. Though I can hear clear the conversations behind and around me.
I have wireless headphones for my TV. when I wear the hearing aids, I hear everything but the TV.
I’ve had Hearing aids since 2012 and my brain still hasn’t identified useless noises.
I know I shouldn’t but for the most part, but the cacophony sometines is just too much, I don’t wear ‘em.
