Just like everything else, people that don’t know anything and sit at a desk make the decisions. Kind of like when men design kitchens.

That’s neat your daughter got a forestry degree! What is she doing now?

I do like this area but we’ve been considering moving because a neighbor’s dog barks all day and all night. Lesson learned, do not move on a hill. The views are beautiful but not worth it. There’s a reason why neither of us had a view on our priority list. I think God was trying to influence us but we overrode him with the Mountain views and rolling hills, I always envisioned myself running across them in my Julie Andrews garb.

We’d like to stay around here but we’re also open to anywhere else. The problem here is people have been settled here for so long that it’s hard to find a large parcel of land. So many have been subdivided for all the “kin”. A word that is actually used quite often. But when I look at other areas of the country most of the land is just flat. I need me my mountains. If I can’t have mountains at least Rolling Hills. So perhaps the Ozarks. I’m Googling in learning more about the rest of the country. Of course along with that goes how do they vote and who is moving in. Just entertaining myself, for the most part. But I did have a realtor over last week and house prices here have been throwing up up up. Yeah to the Trump economy! We’ve been pouring money into this house not even thinking twice because we figured it was our last house. But now we could actually sell it for every penny we have into it including real estate fees. Of course if we move somewhere here all that will be gobbled up.

I am calling on Congress to send me a Bill that fully and permanently funds the LWCF and restores our National Parks. When I sign it into law, it will be HISTORIC for our beautiful public lands. ALL thanks to @SenCoryGardner and @SteveDaines , two GREAT Conservative Leaders!

She worked for the government on fishing boats and then out in the desert where they wanted to put in windmills. Got sick of government and work for the construction company making sure they were up to regulations. Then they got a new job that would have required her to drive hours every day if she didn’t stay there, so she went out on a fishing boat again and got caught up in a bad storm when she was 7 months pregnant. So she decided to do something that she could be home with kids and started teaching science about 5 years ago.

She worked at a place that trains animals for movies for awhile, “We Bought a Zoo” was all their animals, and I forget other movies. But that was when she first moved to SoCal from Oregon and it didn’t pay as much as she needed.

Ozarks are very pretty, we had family there we visited when I was a kid. I researched there, but if I recall it gets hot in summer and more humid. And if my daughter moved where I did there’s not much there work wise. Are you close to the Smokeys? Ashville NC is pretty too.
Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico have beautiful mountain areas. My number one priority is cooler summers than here, and doctors not hundreds of miles away.
Ruidoso, NM... Lakeside, AZ. (LG lives in the area)...Flagstaff, AZ...and I forget the area where pax lives but there is still some affordable land in Denver suburbs but it’s going fast.
