“Our new girl cat cried a lot last night with the thunder.”
Our cats crawl under our quilt when the thunder and lightning appear. Only one cries; she was feral the longest. Probably brings back bad memories of trying to be safe when she was outdoors.

My new girl was an outside cat too. She now is sleeping up on one of the shelves. If I go in she'll wake and come down crying for me. She's very affectionate with my husband and I. Our others are good with her.
This was taken through our old french door that was once exposed to the outside. Not a clear pic..sorry.
